Mark Wahlberg put his Los Angeles home on the market in April this year, and in return he purchased 2.5 acres of residential land at the Summit Club near South Summerlin in Las Vegas.
Mark spoke about his move on The Talk this week, and he stated he moved to Nevada in order to give his family a “better life”.
Mark has four children, with three of them still living at home. Mark stated, “So, to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, or my younger son as a golfer, this made a lot more sense for us.”
Mark is just one of the many California residents moving to Las Vegas, looking for a new environment, lower cost of living, and job opportunities.
Wahlberg has multiple business plans in the works. He hopes to make Las Vegas “Hollywood 2.0” by building a state-of-the-art studio, as well as building a shoe warehouse and warehouse for his clothing company, Municipal.
If Marky Mark is living in Las Vegas, I don’t want to live anywhere else 😉
