The new mini-golf course in Las Vegas, supported by Tiger Woods and TaylorMade, is set to open soon, promising more than just a typical putting experience. PopStroke, located at Town Square, is not just about golf; it’s an entertainment hub featuring two 18-hole putting courses along with various amenities.
The facility spans 12,800 square feet over two floors, offering an array of activities beyond mini-golf. Visitors can indulge in treats at the ice cream station, dine at the restaurant, enjoy a children’s playground, or book the private event space. Multiple bars, including those situated on the courses, cater to guests, while non-golf games like pingpong and cornhole add to the fun.
Dylana Silver-O’Brien, PopStroke’s VP of marketing, emphasized the venue’s focus on community and enjoyment, showcasing outdoor spaces for play and relaxation. The courses, adorned with green and white synthetic turf resembling golf course terrain, incorporate interactive elements like large screens displaying scores and live sports.
Unique to the Las Vegas site are adaptable garage doors for weather control, ensuring comfort amid varying conditions. Taylor Glode, overseeing West Coast operations, anticipates the venue’s appeal to all demographics, offering incentives such as late-night happy hours and ladies’ nights.
PopStroke’s decision to establish a presence in Nevada stems from its favorable climate and expanding population, aligning with its existing locations across warm-weather states. Town Square was chosen for its vibrant atmosphere, drawing both locals and tourists to its open-air retail setting.
Opening day is April 22, 2024! It won’t be long until my Happy Gilmore-loving family checks it out for ourselves! Let us know if you do too.
