With March coming up quick, the City of Henderson is offering a ton of great events for families and adults!! Check out my list below for a list of some of the events happening this March!
– March 4, Giant Garage Sale: From 7-12 am the Black Mountain Recreation Center will be offering a giant garage sale where you will have the opportunity to sign up for a spot to sell your second-hand items, or gain free admission to the event and shop!
– March 4, Big Three Basketball Showdown: Sign up to show off your basketball skills for a 3v3 basketball tournament. The tournament will have two brackets: ages 14-18, or 18 and up! Each team is guaranteed three games, and the winning teams will win a prize!
– March 10-12, St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade: The 55th annual St. Patrick’s Day festival will take place on Water Street, with the parade happening on Saturday at 10am! There will be tons of fun events and entertainment including Irish whiskey tasting, amusement rides, a car show, Celtic entertainment, and more!
– March 17, Pot O’ Gold: Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day and take your children to the Henderson Multigenerational Indoor Pool for a night filled with St. Patrick’s Day themed activities for the kids!
– March 24, Little Knights Out: Have a fun night watching the Henderson Silver Knights game while your children are next door at the Henderson Multigenerational Center enjoying games and crafts, and also being provided dinner! You must sign up a week in advance, as space is limited!
